Sustainable Timber Milling

A few images of whats involved in the on site saw milling of some large logs of Northern Australian Silky Oak (Cardwellia sublimis).

Two types of Mill were used, an Alaskan, or Chainsaw Mill and a Portable Mill.

The Chainsaw mill was used to take wide slabs, the other to cut uniform size boards.
